Renovation of an educational facility in Thomasboro, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work includes the removal of the existing urethane floor system in the kitchen and installation of new epoxy, carpet tile, and luxury vinyl tile floor systems and wall base at Thomasboro Grade School, 201 N Phillips Street, Thomasboro, Champaign County, Illinois 61878. Instructions to bidders: See Section 00 10 00 - Instruction to Bidders and Section 00 10 01 - Supplemental Instructions to Bidders in the Project Manual for further bidding requirements. The successful bidder must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, including payment of applicable wages to all laborers, workers, and mechanics. Payment and Performance Bonds are required. Bids require a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the base bid. Bids shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, considering conformity with specifications, terms of delivery, and quality and serviceability, as determined by the Board. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or to waive any informality in the bidding process. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after opening without Owner consent. Facsimile and electronic bids will not be accepted. Bidders are responsible for ensuring timely delivery of their bids; no late bids will be accepted.
