Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in East Windsor, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and industrial development.
The scope of work includes the construction of two buildings at the project site: one to house the administrative functions and one for maintenance operations. Both buildings will require full electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Site work includes foundation excavation, connection of public utilities at the street, and regrading of the site. Contract work on site must be completed within 550 calendar days. Bidders must use and complete all bid forms provided and comply with all requirements in the instructions and specifications. Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the project name, and accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, but not more than $20,000. Surety bonds must be written by a company listed on the Federal Treasury List. Bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and provide the necessary certificates. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid meets all requirements. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive minor informalities.
