This involves installation of a new foundation for a tip-down pole style rotating beacon assembly, new electrical conduit and cable as required, all necessary utilities and site work for the installation of the new rotating beacon, replacement of the existing rotating beacon and tower, installation of a new tilt-down beacon tower and light, associated concrete foundation, electrical components, underground power conduit and cable, site restoration, and disposal of the existing light beacon tower. Instructions to bidders include: Only those listed as bidders will be considered responsive. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the total maximum proposal price for the contract, in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. The contract does not allow for price escalation in unit bid items, so contractors must consider this when preparing unit prices. The execution of the construction contract is contingent upon receipt of an FAA grant offer.
