Site work and paving for a road / highway in Springfield, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are invited for the 2026 Pavement Marking Contract for Clark County. Bids must be submitted to the Clerk's Office, Board of Clark County Commissioners, and be clearly marked with the contract name along with the name and address of the bidder on the envelope. Bidders and subcontractors must be pre-qualified by the Ohio Department of Transportation and possess a current Certificate of Qualification for the applicable work classifications (Work Types 39 & 45), even if these items are to be sublet. The prime contractor is required to perform at least 50% of the contracted work with their own forces. Each bidder must provide evidence of experience in similar projects. The project must be completed within 75 calendar days and no later than October 30, 2026. All contractors and subcontractors must utilize Ohio products, materials, services, and labor as much as practical and comply with equal employment opportunity requirements. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond as specified. Additional required documents include a bid bond, Non-Discrimination Provision, Non-Collusion Bid Affidavit, Affidavit 3517, Personal Property Tax Statement, and Quality Contracting Standards Certification. The successful bidder must submit a contract bond and meet insurance requirements. State of Ohio Prevailing Wage rates apply. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive defects that do not materially alter the bid document.
