Site work and new construction of a civil project in Springfield, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The Bid for This Project Includes the Following General Construction: Installation of Approximately 30,000 Linear Feet (Lf) of 12-inch Diameter Ductile Iron Pipe (Dip) Waterline Using the Open Cut Method, 8000 Linear Feet (Lf) of 8-inch Diameter Ductile Iron Pipe (Dip) Waterline Using the Open Cut Method, 2400 Linear Feet (Lf) of 12-inch Diameter Waterline Installed Using the Directional Drill Method, Construction of a Booster Station, Construction of a 100,000 Gallon Water Tower, Installation of Fire Hydrants and Valves. Work Includes Trench Excavation, Trenchless Excavation, Waterline and Appurtenances Installation, Trench Backfilling, Waterline Disinfection and Testing, Pavement and Driveway Repair, Removal of Trees, Site Restoration, Maintenance of Traffic and Installation and Maintenance of Erosion Control Measures. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the Form of Either: A Bond for the Full Amount of the Bid; or a Certified Check or Cashier's Check in the Amount of 10% of the Bid. Checks Should Be Made Payable to the Board of Clark County Commissioners. Failure to Submit a Proper Bond Will Automatically Invalidate the Bid. Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Post an Acceptable Performance Bond in an Amount Equal to 100% of the Contract Price. If Successful Bidder Fails to Enter Into a Proper Contract or Defaults in Any Portion of His Bid, the Bid Guarantee Shall Be Forfeited as Liquidated Damages. Bid Guaranties of Unsuccessful Bidders Will Be Returned Following Award of Bid. The Apparent Successful Bidder on Any Contract Exceeding $100,000.00 Requiring Prevailing Wages Must Submit Its Two Most Recent Financial Statements That Have Been Compiled, Reviewed or Audited by a Licensed Certified Public Accountant Within Seven Days After Bid Opening Date and Must Certify Compliance With the County's Financial Requirements / Tests, a Copy of Which Are Included in the Bid Documents. Please Note: The County is Exempt From All Federal, State, Local and/or Excise Taxes. Attention of Bidders is Called to All the Requirements Contained in This Bid Packet, Particularly to the Federal Davis-bacon Prevailing Wage Rates, Encouragement of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (Dbe) Utilization, Various Insurance Requirements, and Various Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions. The Board of County Commissioners of Clark County, Ohio Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids; and the Board Also Reserves the Right to Waive Any Defect in a Bid Which Does Not Materially Alter the Bid Item.
