Site work for a military facility in Springfield, Ohio. Working plans call for site work for a military facility.
The work consists of constructing a base-wide microgrid at Springfield-Beckley Air National Guard Base to provide a fully functioning, resilient energy system capable of supporting independent base operations during long-term utility outages. The project includes the design, installation, and integration of a photovoltaic solar array, a battery energy storage system, two natural gas generators, and all associated controls, switchgear, power distribution, communication lines, and supporting infrastructure. The microgrid must ensure uninterrupted energy for critical 24/7 mission operations and be fully integrated with the existing base Direct Digital Controls infrastructure, requiring full compatibility and interoperability with the Honeywell Niagara 4 platform without degradation of existing systems or introduction of parallel controls. All work shall comply with Buy American Act requirements and applicable construction procedures, with performance completed as a lump-sum, firm-fixed-price contract. The scope may also include optional line items for installation of the solar PV array and the battery energy storage system in accordance with stamped drawings and specifications. Location: Springfield-Beckley Air National Guard Base, 2520 Global Reach Drive, Springfield, OH 45502 The magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
