This work consists offull depth removal ofexisting pavement; compacting the subgrade or subbase; furnishing and placing dowel bars, deformed bars, tiebars, and reinforcing steel where specified; placing, consolidating, finishing, and curing new portland cement concrete to the level ofthe adjacent portland cement concrete pavement or wearing course; replacing wearing course where required; and restoring affected shoulders. SU-28-16 REPLACEMENT PROJECT, PID #119001 in Stark County, Ohio. Construction work must be substantially completed within 90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must be in current good standing on the Ohio Department of Transportation Pre-qualified Contractors List. Work is subject to the Federal prevailing wage rates established for Ohio. Each bid must be submitted in conformity with the Ohio Revised Code and on the provided forms, and must be accompanied by a bid guaranty. Only bidders of record--who have signed the bidders list, obtained specifications, and paid the required fee--will have their bids accepted and receive any addenda. Terms of payment are per Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code. All steel products must meet ODOT CMS 106.09. SBE participation goals are set at 10%. If unable to meet the SBE goal, a waiver request may be submitted with proof of good faith effort.
