Site work and renovation of a recreation facility in Canton, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a recreation facility; and for site work for a recreation facility.

The Stark County Commissioners intend to contract for Professional Engineering Services related to electrical design services for the Stark County Fairgrounds 80-acre campus. The project involves providing electrical site design to upgrade the campus site power distribution and lighting system with a new underground electrical distribution system and energy efficient LED site lighting, to be completed as a multiple phased project. The services required include providing electrical design plans, specifications, bid documents, and project administration for the necessary renovations. Interested engineering firms should submit a statement of qualifications containing information about the firm’s history, the education and experience of key personnel, the technical expertise of current staff, relevant experience in campus underground distribution systems and energy efficient site lighting for a county fairground, equipment and facilities, proximity to the project location, and previous work performed for any agency of Stark County Government. Statements received after the deadline will not be considered. Firms will be evaluated and ranked based on their qualifications, and contract negotiations will proceed with the highest ranked firm. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time . Request for Proposal for design services is underway
