The work includes the provision of all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install 24 feet of 10" gravity sewer, 840 feet of 8" CIPP, 5,043 feet of 10" CIPP, one 10" lateral wye replacement, 11 manhole linings and castings, and a new gravity flow meter including electrical work. Bidders must initiate construction and mobilize within 30 days from notice to proceed, and the total contract duration is 200 calendar days. Failure to meet milestones will result in liquidated damages. Construction is subject to prevailing wage rates established by the Ohio Department of Commerce. Bids must be in conformity with the Ohio Revised Code, submitted on provided forms, and accompanied by a bid guaranty either in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid, or a bid guaranty bond for the full amount of the bid. Bidders are required to comply with equal employment opportunity requirements and use, to the extent practicable, Ohio and/or American made products. The Stark County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities, and will award the contract to the lowest and best bid, not necessarily the lowest bid. Domestic steel use requirements as specified in sections 153.011 of the Ohio Revised Code apply.
