Site work and paving for a road / highway in Cobb, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Town of Eden is accepting sealed bids for various sealcoat surfacing projects and for an LRIP Pavement Replacement project in the township. The township will use Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) funds to reshape the existing base course and provide a new asphalt double chipseal layer along Wolenec Road. The Town reserves the right to award the projects to the lowest responsible bidder and may award each of the five projects based on individual or combined bid prices. Any credit or deduction proposed by a contractor for receiving all projects as a package must be prorated out by project in the bid form. For Project #5 on Wolenec Road, the work includes grading and reshaping the road from Tower Road to its terminus, adding crushed aggregate base course as needed to re-establish a 2% crown at an 18-foot minimum surface width centered on the roadway centerline for drainage. Placement of a sealcoat oil and base surface in two lifts is required: the first at approximately 0.42 gallons per square yard (adjusted as needed for adequate aggregate coverage), and the second at 0.36 gallons per square yard (also adjusted as needed). All materials, labor, equipment, supplies, and incidental items necessary to complete the work must be included.
