Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Batavia, New York. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The work consists of clinic renovation activities within the Batavia VA Medical Center clinical areas located on the ground floor of Building 1. The project scope includes demolition and replacement of walls, millwork, flooring, finishes, and ceilings in areas impacted by previous sanitary piping issues. Demolition to remove affected walls, floors, and millwork has already been completed under a prior contract, and this effort focuses on renovation and restoration of the space. The contractor must perform work while the area remains an active Clinical Outpatient Care Area for Veterans, with no shutdown of operations permitted. Strict infection control, safety, and noise control measures are required. Portions of the work will need to be performed at night or on weekends to minimize disruption to patient care. Additional construction details and requirements will be provided in the Statement of Work included with the solicitation. Location: Batavia VA Medical Center, 222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020 The magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
