The Board of Education of the Batavia City School District invites bids for a Single Prime Contract for a 2025-26 Capital Outlay Exception Project at Batavia Senior High School. Bidders must obtain complete sets of bid documents either as PDFs or hard copies from Avalon, Buffalo Plan Room, for a non-refundable fee. Attention is drawn to the owner's sales tax exemption, required employment conditions, and prevailing wage rates under the contract. Bidders must meet specific qualification requirements, including bonding, insurance, financial statements, bank references, litigation history, intent to provide performance and payment bonds, and descriptions of similar completed projects. Compliance with the New York State Department of Labor Contractor Registry is required. Bids must be prepared as per the Instructions to Bidders, enclosed in a sealed envelope with bid security of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids and to disqualify bidders for material failure to comply with instructions.
