Furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required to perform 2026 Park Improvements for Sanitary and Improvement District No. 609, Douglas County, Nebraska, at the locations shown on the detailed drawings and in the specifications. The work consists essentially of the following approximate quantities: full depth saw cut, removal of existing combination curb and gutter, installation and removal of construction entrance, installation of concrete washout, inlet sediment filter, area inlet protection, wattles, silt fence, tree protection and reset, construction of thickened sidewalk edge, 9" doweled concrete pavement, 5" and 6" PCC sidewalks with subgrade preparation and backfill, 6" PCC multi-use fibermesh trail, 7" imprinted PCC surface, PCC mid-block and double curb ramps, detectable warning panels, bench pad areas, on-site and haul-in excavation, installation of park benches, park sign, park trees, seeding, and reinforcement mat. All proposals must be submitted on bid forms furnished by E & A Consulting Group, Inc., accompanied by an original bid bond or certified check in the amount of not less than $13,840.00, made payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 609 as security. The bidder awarded the contract must enter into a contract to build the improvements in accordance with this notice, providing a contract and maintenance bond for 100% of the contract price. Bid bonds must be executed by a duly licensed corporate surety. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for thirty days after the opening of bids. Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Clerk of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 609, marked "2026 Park Improvements" with the bidder's name and address. The bid security must be in a separate sealed envelope marked "BID SECURITY." Proposals received after the deadline will be returned unopened. The work shall be performed under written contract with the responsible bidder submitting the lowest acceptable bid, in accordance with the requirements of the plans and specifications and as provided by law. Plans, specifications, and contract documents must be obtained by interested bidders at the office of E & A Consulting Group, Inc., upon payment of $45, none of which will be refunded. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
