Access from the bottom of the pipes is possible but not recommended. An additional option may be included to line one vertical floatwell using the same CIPP material; the floatwell is approximately 95 feet long and 24 inches in diameter, open to the atmosphere at the top, with a removable bolted cap at the bottom for access. The CIPP system shall utilize unsaturated polyester resin with multiaxial glass fabric, cured by ultraviolet light. The liner may be pulled into place and must be inflated using compressed air. Contractors must demonstrate experience performing CIPP repairs on large-diameter piping of 18 inches or greater, installed vertically, with total linear footage of at least 100 feet. Installers are required to provide manufacturer certifications and/or licenses. The estimated contract duration is 180 calendar days, with an estimated cost range between $100,000 and $250,000.
