Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hill, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Resurfacing of 13,200 ft. of Hedin Road in the Town of Hill starting at Spoke Road west towards Harrison Road. Work includes furnishing, crushing, and hauling a 5-inch lift of 3/4 inch gradation Dense Graded Base over a 22-foot wide existing road surface. Estimated quantity is 4,500 cubic yards of 3/4 inch Dense Graded Base. All contracting procedures, work, and materials supplied must conform to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Standard Specifications, 2025 edition. Bidders must comply with all transportation standards for town roads and abide by environmental requirements (Chapter Trans 204 and 206 Wis. Stats.). Engineer certification is required per Wisconsin DOT Local Road Improvement Program requirements, and a ten-year certification is needed if the contract exceeds $65,000. In the event of a prevailing wage rate determination, the contractor will be responsible for compliance. A W-9 and Certification of Insurance from the successful bidder must be received prior to commencement of the project. The Town of Hill reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part thereof, waive any information in the bidding process, and accept the bid proposal or portion deemed most advantageous to the Town.
