Description

Renovation of a library in Jackson, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

Furnish all labor and materials to replace the existing upper roof of the Library building and the Library Annex at 1024 College Avenue and 1026 College Avenue, Jackson, Kentucky. The scope of work consists of the application of a seamless roofing system to repair and prevent roofing leaks without removing the existing roofing. Additional work may include replacement of the substructure or addressing drainage issues. The work must be completed using a cold-applied method on both a shingled/tin roof and a flat roof. A twenty-year warranty must be included for the completed work. Bidders must provide proof of licensure and insurance. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with Commonwealth of Kentucky requirements for Workers' Compensation Insurance (KRS 342) and Unemployment Insurance (KRS Chapter 341). Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, with the contractor’s name clearly indicated and a signature over the envelope flap. The Breathitt County Public Library reserves the right to waive or reject any or all bids and encourages participation from small, minority, and female-owned businesses.
