Renovation of a mixed-use development in Brandon, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The work includes the removal and proper disposal of existing windows located in the Library of Otter Valley Union Middle/High School, and the furnishing and installation of new, energy-efficient replacement windows. All work shall include necessary labor, materials, equipment, interior and exterior finishes, insulation, sealing, and any required framing adjustments to ensure a complete and weather-tight installation in compliance with Vermont building codes. Sealed bids must be received no later than the specified deadline and clearly marked. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately following the submission deadline. The responsible administrator will evaluate bids against specifications and criteria, identify the lowest responsible bidder or best value, and document justification for recommendation, including any bid rejections, irregularities waived, and references or past performance. A written recommendation shall be prepared for Board consideration.
