Alumni Hall Rooms and Corridor Painting Floors 2, 3, 16, and 17 Question Deadline 04/16/2026 at 3:00 PM ET Send ALL questions to purchasing at: purchasingbids@fitnyc.edu Business enterprises awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: Hellman Construction, Nuvista, B&B Contracting Project Description: Clean and prep all surfaces to receive paint as per specifications and drawings. Prime and paint interior surfaces to match specifications. Contractor responsible for painting entire floor including hallways, doors, walls and ceilings. All existing HVAC diffusers & grilles to be cleaned. All existing fan coil units to be painted. Coordinate with FIT as required to turn fan coils off. Grille of FCU to be spray painted. Contractor responsible for moving all furniture to the center of the room and protecting it prior to the start of work. Built-in counters, flooring, light fixtures, etc. to be protected throughout the project. Contractor will be responsible for repositioning generally all furniture once the project is completed. No furniture is to be stacked or to be stored anywhere except inside the room. Contractor to patch & repair any damaged sheetrock prior to painting. All existing conduits are to be painted to match the adjacent walls. Contractor must coordinate with other on-going projects in the same areas of the building. Contractor is responsible to remove all window shades prior to painting. Once painting is complete contractor is responsible to re-install all window shades.
