McFarland-Johnson, Inc. is soliciting subcontractor price proposals for performing Geotechnical Investigation services on NYSDOT's Region 5, PIN 5814.66 - Goodell Street Corridor Safety Improvements Project, City of Buffalo, NY. A PDF of the Geotechnical Investigation Request for Proposal may be obtained by emailing Chris Geroux, PE, McFarland-Johnson, Inc. at cgeroux@mjinc.com. Bids must be received via email at cgeroux@mjinc.com no later than 3:00 PM on April 24, 2026. The email subject line should be clearly labeled: PIN 5814.66 - Goodell Street Corridor Safety Improvements Project Geotechnical Investigations. Bids received after the deadline will not be accepted. The work shall consist of furnishing any and all necessary equipment,site work and access, drilling for 13 pavement cores and work zone traffic control to perform the drilling work. The purpose of the exploration work is to determine the physical and chemical characteristics of the pavement and soil as they exist at specified locations. The approximate locations of the cores are shown below and on the plans in Exhibit C. Exact locations of all cores will be determined prior to the start of the work. Subcontractor is to provide Latitude and Longitude (GPS) of pavement core locations if deviating from the locations shown below and in Exhibit C. Question Deadline 04/20/2026 Questions regarding this Request for Proposal shall be directed to Chris Geroux, PE, McFarland-Johnson, Inc. through email at cgeroux@mjinc.com no later than April 20, 2026.
