Remodeling of an office development in Malden, Missouri. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 3,200-square-foot office development.
As of April 21, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded should be later this week. Work involves the remodel of a 3,200 square foot office building and includes exterior door replacement, window replacement, new flooring, new ceiling tiles, painting, kitchen cabinet refinishing, and other related work. Bids must be made in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. Each bidder must submit a Surety Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of their bid. The selected General Contractor will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Surety Bonds totaling the amount of the Contract. All bids must be on a lump sum basis for each section of work; segregated proposals will not be accepted. No proposal may be withdrawn for sixty days after the proposal date. Items required to be completed and submitted with bid include: Bid Form, Bid Bond, Non-Collusive Affidavit, Qualification Form, Section 3 Forms, and HUD Form 5369-A. All on-site workers must receive a ten-hour construction safety and health program approved by OSHA. Successful bidders must have General Liability and Vehicle Liability Insurance with a combined single limit of One Million Dollars and Workman's Compensation Insurance according to the Laws of the State of Missouri. Federal Wage Rates in the Bid Package shall be the prevailing wages. The work is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Question Deadline 04/09/2026 Questions may submit to the architect a written request for interpretation thereof not later than seven (7) days before bids will be opened. The person submitting the request shall be responsible for its prompt delivery.
