Major Work Items Include: DESCRIPTION QUANTITY UNIT MILLING ASPHALT PAVEMENT, 0-1.5" 590 SY ASPHALT CONCRETE SURFACE COURSE, TYPE S 9.5B 156 TN ASPHALT CONCRETE INTERMEDIATE COURSE, TYPE I 19.0C 143 TN ASPHALT CONCRETE BASE COURSE, TYPE B 25.0C 490 TN 24-INCH CONCRETE VALLEY GUTTER 2,920 LF 2'-6" CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER 205 LF CONCRETE CURB RAMPS 16 EA 4" CONCRETE SIDEWALK 793 SY Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Apex for the furnishing of all materials and construction of the N Hughes St & S Mason St Sidewalks Project. All bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit with their Bids affidavits of "Good Faith Efforts" in the recruitment of Minority Businesses. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Transportation & Infrastructure Development Department, Town of Apex. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Question Deadline 04/22/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
