Sealed Bids in duplicate for the project GRISSOM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - NEW DROP OFF / PICK UP DRIVE & PARKING LOT will be received and publicly opened and read aloud by INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NUMBER ONE OF TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA. The bidding process will comply with the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974 and "Local Bid Preference" per Oklahoma Statutes. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid. The contract will be awarded within thirty days after the opening of bids and the written contract executed within sixty days thereafter upon receipt of an acceptable bid. A designated completion date for this project site will be established based on the number of calendar days, as stated in the accepted bid, required to complete the Project work. There will be a $2500 Liquidated Damages Clause for each day the contract is not completed. Each Bidder must include the number of calendar days required to complete the specified Project within the space provided on the Bid Form. Failure to comply with the above bid requirements will result in return of unopened Bid Proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or minor irregularities in any bid. The scope of the work consists of all new materials, tools, equipment, labor and services, to complete the TULSA PUBLIC SCHOOLS - GRISSOM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEW DROPOFF / PICK-UP DRIVE & PARKING LOT project listed in the "Solicitation and Notice for Bids" in accordance with the "Form of Proposal" and as indicated by the Drawings and by the Specifications included in this Project Manual.
