Furnishing all tools, materials and labor and performing the work necessary for the construction of ARTERIAL CONCRETE STREET MAINTENANCE N 93RD E AVE MZ 3154. Drawings, specifications and contract documents may be obtained for a non-refundable fee. Contract requirements include compliance with non-discrimination in employment laws, attainment of a ten percent Small Business Enterprise goal, employing at least fifty percent bona fide residents of the City of Tulsa and/or MSA in each employment classification, and hiring only citizens of the United States for all levels of subcontractors. The City of Tulsa is exempt from sales or use taxes, and bidders may exclude appropriate sales taxes from their bid. A Certified or Cashier's Check or Bidders Surety Bond, in the amount of 5% of the bid, is required as a guarantee. The successful bidder must provide public liability and workmen's compensation insurance, as well as Performance, Statutory, and Maintenance bonds each for one hundred percent of the contract price. Bidding is subject to a local preference law as defined in Oklahoma Statutes, Ti 61, Section 103. If a local bid meets the conditions, the City must select the second lowest bid if it is within 5% of the lowest bid and the lowest bid is not local, with the local bidder agreeing to do the work at the lowest bid price if awarded the project. Pre-qualification requirements: Bids will be accepted only from holders of valid pre-qualification certificates from the City of Tulsa in classification A or C. Attendance at a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is required; bids will not be received from contractors who do not attend. All bido will be opened and considered by the Bid Committee of said City at a meeting of said Committee to be held in the Cty Council Room of City Hall in said City at 9:00 am on the 2fith day of June, 2026.
