Renovation of a detention facility in Butner, North Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
"As per the Owner the Project has been cancelled. Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information" Cancellation Description Statement of Work did not cover the full scope of work. The changes to the SOW will need to be completed and approved before reposting. Description The work consists of furnishing all equipment, materials, and labor necessary for the complete replacement of precast joints at the Federal Medical Center within FCC Butner. Construction shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work and Specifications included with the solicitation, which define the full technical and performance requirements. The project is a firm fixed-price construction effort with a performance period of 140 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed. Location: Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Butner, Old NC Highway 75, Butner, NC 27509 The Contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 140 calendar days. Any questions relating to the solicitation after the closing of the pre-quotation conference/site visit shall be sent to Broguen McKeown, Lead Contract Specialist, via email at bmckeown@bop.gov or Ashley Harding, Contract Specialist, via email at a1huffman@bop.gov no later than May 15, 2026 by 3:00 pm est.
