Sealed bids are invited for the 2026 Resurfacing Project "H-1-2026" in Carroll County, Ohio, in accordance with the county's plans and specifications. ROADS TO BE RESURFACED ARE: Apollo Road (CR12) Berry Road (CR31) Tack Coat @ 0.085 Gal/SY Asphalt Concrete Variable Depth (0" min to 3" max) Spot leveling Intermediate Leveling Course, Type 1 (448), PG64-22, As Per Plan, ADBE Asphalt Concrete Surface Course, Type 1 (448), @ 1.5" Temporary Centerline, Class II, 642 Reconditioning Shoulder w/ Compacted Aggregate (RAP) As Per Plan Maintaining Traffic The work is subject to prevailing wage rates established by the Ohio Department of Industrial Compliance. Each bid must conform to the Ohio Revised Code and be submitted on forms provided with the specifications. Bids over $30,000 must be accompanied by a certified check for at least 10% of the bid amount or a bond in the full amount, compliant with relevant sections of the Ohio Revised Code. All contractors and subcontractors are required to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor to the extent practicable, and comply with equal employment opportunity requirements. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best bid, not necessarily the lowest, with the Board of Commissioners reserving discretion. The project is pending OPWC approval, and work cannot begin until a formal notice to proceed is issued. Domestic steel use requirements apply as specified in Section 153.011 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Engineer's Base Bid Estimate for this project is: $591,063.50. Construction Work shall be completed 120 Calendar Days after date ofNotice to Proceed. Any interpretation, correction or change in the plans and specifications will be made by addendum. When an addendum is required the Architect/Engineer or the County will forward it to those who earlier obtained a complete set ofspecifications, by 1) certified mail, return receipt requested, or 2) by personal delivery, obtaining a signed receipt for same. No addendum will be issued to bidders having incomplete sets ofspecifications.
