Work includes demolition, backfill, grading and seeding of three office buildings (348 Columbia Street, 404 Columbia Street, 501 East Monroe Street) in South Bend, all as described in plans and specifications prepared by the City. Bids must be submitted electronically with the title of the bid and project number in the subject line, and bidder's contact details in the body of the email. Bids must be on the specified form and must include an electronic copy of a Bid Bond or Certified Check of at least five percent (5%) of the base bid plus any alternates. The awarded bidder must send the original check or bid bond via USPS. Bidders must comply with the "City of South Bend EEO Contracting Provision Diversity Utilization" for each construction trade used on this contract and all other construction work in the St. Joseph County area during the contract or subcontract.
