The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Scope of work is as indicated on drawings and specifications. The scope can be described by, but not limited to, the following: Replacement of existing guard post structure with prefabricated UL Level 8 guard post structure. The new prefabricated structure is approximately 100 square feet and is attached to a new concrete foundation and pad. The prefabricated metal building will have an envelope that consists of a thin brick veneer and metal siding panels, standing seam roofing system with metal gutters and downspouts, and various telecommunications and security installations. The guard post manufacturer will pre-wire mechanical and electrical as indicated in drawings, with final tie-ins by the general contractor; exposed conduit and junction boxes should be avoided unless discussed with owner in advance. All workers on site are required to have owner approved background checks. Allowable work schedules may vary depending on activities on the property; the contractor must consider their work activities may need to be adjusted to comply with residence schedule at no additional cost. Contractor to maintain operation at main access road and gate open for vehicle and pedestrian during construction. If main access gate is to be inoperable due to construction activities, a temporary guard post structure must be provided at temporary gate location including all wiring and controls necessary for ongoing security operations. All costs associated with temporary guard post, if required, should be included in contractors bid. All shutdowns and outage requests must be made at least ten (10) days in advance.
