Remodeling of a recreation facility in Jacksonville, Florida. Completed plans call for the remodel of a recreation facility.
Scopes of work include, but are not limited to, fire protection, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, concrete, metal stud framing, acoustic ceiling tile (ACT), paint, flooring, landscape, and millwork. All trades shall be provided and installed in full compliance with the contract documents, governing codes, and all applicable project requirements. Bidders shall submit a sealed bid clearly labeled with the company name and the specific scope of work being proposed. All bidders must be properly licensed, bonded, and insured in accordance with state and local requirements, and must provide proof of each with their bid submission. Subcontractors are responsible for reviewing all contract documents and providing a complete scope of work. Subcontractors will be required to wear PPE at all times, clean up daily and dispose of trash at Scorpio provided dumpsters, and provide backup for any and all cost changes to any scope of work. Participation of minority, women-owned, and local businesses is strongly encouraged. Workers compensation coverage and valid work visa or US citizens workers only.
