Sealed bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the completion of miscellaneous maintenance and repairs at the Wright Street Parking Deck located at 140 Wright Street in Auburn. The parking deck consists of 7 levels and is over 163,000 square feet in size. Work includes a traffic coating system (34,340 square feet), slab on grade polyurethane injection (90 square feet), and concrete floor penetrations repair (60 each). Additive alternates are included for performing the work on nights and weekends. All work must be done in accordance with the construction drawings, details, and the City of Auburn Standard Details and Specifications. Bidders must submit at least five percent (not to exceed $10,000) of the bid amount as a certified or cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City. Compliance with the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act regarding employment practices is required. The successful bidder is responsible for acquiring the necessary business licenses and permits to work within the City. Bidders must follow all instructions in the "Instructions to Bidders" section. The City reserves the right to select the lowest responsible bidder, award the contract from any bid, reject any or all bids, and waive any informalities. Bids will be valid for thirty days after opening.
