Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Gulfport, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be performed under these contracts shall consist of the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the South Basin Dock Replacement project including written logs and testing in accordance with these plans and specifications. All workmanship and materials shall be fully guaranteed for a period of one year after date of acceptance by the Owner. All Testing shall be paid by the Contractor. All Professional Surveying shall be paid by the Contractor. Question Deadline 04/20/2026 The Engineer will provide interpretations of the Plans and Specifications for compliance with the Contract Documents. The Engineer's response to interpretation requests shall be made with reasonable promptness, or a maximum of 15 days from the date of written request. Sealed bids are requested for providing all necessary labor, materials, incidental items, and equipment for the South Basin Dock Replacement. Bids must be submitted on the provided proposal forms and must be marked "South Basin Dock Replacement." Each bid must include a certified check, money order, or bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid, guaranteeing that if the proposal is accepted, the bidder will enter into a contract within ten (10) days and furnish performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract amount. Bids may not be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening. Bids must conform to the specifications and instructions to bidders, with any deviations clearly indicated. The City reserves all rights regarding bid acceptance, rejection, and procedure. No individual or affiliate on the convicted vendor list may submit or work on the contract. Persons with disabilities requiring accommodations should make arrangements in advance.
