Sealed bids are requested for the Defiance County Adult Probation Renovation Project at 500 Court Street, Suite G, Defiance, Ohio 43512, according to the provided drawings and specifications. One set of contract documents is available at no cost to the general contractor from ARC Document Solutions, and all plan holders must be listed with ARC. Additional sets can be purchased from ARC, and proposals not on the plan holders list will be considered non-responsive. Addenda will be sent to registered plan holders only. Bids must include a bid guaranty and contract bond for the full amount of the bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit for 10% of the bid as specified in the instructions. Contractors must also provide an affidavit of non-delinquency of personal property tax. Compliance with prevailing wage rates published by the Ohio Department of Commerce is required throughout the project. Bids are binding for 60 days after opening. The owner reserves the right to waive bid irregularities, reject any or all bids, and investigate the responsibility of bidders.
