UCLA requests written responses for the selection of an Executive Architect for the Parking Lot 36 Transit Hub Study. The project site is Parking Lot 36, covering approximately 3.2 acres, and the planned project is a transit hub for various bus lines, micro-mobility services, ride-hailing services, and a connection to the Metro D Line extension, which includes a Westwood/UCLA Station portal within the project site. The main goals are to establish a connection between the Metro Subway D Line Westwood/UCLA station and the UCLA Campus, and to create a welcoming Westwood Village by diverting buses to a single transit hub.
