Site work for a water / sewer project in West Palm Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project is for the construction of the South County Reclaimed Water Transmission Pipeline Phase 2 and Lyons Road Force Main Between Yamato Road and L-38. Work includes furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, fees, expertise, and services necessary for: - Construction of approximately 3 miles of 24-inch reclaimed water main to connect existing phase 1A and phase 1B. One section will start from the end of Phase 1A on Glades Road and continue travelling east along Glades Road till the intersection of Glades and SR7, then the pipeline will turn north, travel along SR7 and end at new development Lotus Edge entrance (E.F. Johns Pkwy). Another section is from the end of Phase 1B (Yamato & Lyons) to L-39 Canal along Lyons Road. - Construction of approximately 2 miles of 24-inch new force main from Yamato Road to L-38 Canal along Lyons Road. All conditions and requirements for bid submission, consideration, and award are specified. Bid proposals must be submitted on the provided forms and be accompanied by a bid bond of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid price. A public construction bond (100%) will be required of the successful bidder. All bidders and subcontractors must possess all required professional licenses or certifications. The SBE subcontracting goal for this project is a mandatory minimum of 15% participation. Bidders must ensure subcontractors are registered as vendors. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any bid irregularities, informalities, or deficiencies and to reject any and all bids. Question Deadline 04/24/2026 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall make a written request which shall reach the Department at the name and address listed in the Invitation to Bid at least ten calendar days prior to the date for receipt of Bids. Construct Work as described in the Contract Documents. 1. Provide the materials, equipment, and incidentals required to make the Project completely and fully operable. 2. Only the materials listed in Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department Engineering Services Division - Approved Materials and Equipment List (Latest Version) are approved for use within the PBCWUD service area, or as specified herein. 3. Provide the labor, equipment, tools, and consumable supplies required for a complete Project. 4. Provide the civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and all other Work required for a complete and operable Project. 5. Test and place the completed Project in operation. 6. Provide the special tools, spare parts, lubricants, supplies, or other materials as indicated in Contract Documents for the operation and maintenance of the Project. 7. Arrange and coordinate with Supplier for deliveries of OWNER purchased products in accordance with construction schedule, coordinate to avoid conflict with work and conditions at the site. Unload the products at the site, and store and protect the products in accordance with the Supplier's instructions. 8. The WORK shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly indicated or called for in the Contract Documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the WORK in good faith shall be provided by the CONTRACTOR and coordinated with the ENGINEER as though originally so indicated, at no increase in cost to the OWNER. 9. CONTRACTOR shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local safety regulations, laws and standards, as well as any specific Palm Beach County or Water Utilities Department requirements while completing the work. 10. Except as specifically noted, the CONTRACTOR shall provide and pay for: a. Labor, materials, and equipment. b. Tools, equipment and machinery. c. Water, electricity, and other utilities required to complete project. d. Other facilities and services necessary for proper execution and completion of the work. e. Permits, surveys, and testing. Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as: The proposed improvements for the South County Reclaimed Water Transmission Pipeline consist of the Construction of approximately 8,154 linear feet of 24-inch Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) via open cut and 7,731 linear feet of 30-inch High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe via Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD). Also, the construction of 114 linear feet through the Jack and Bore construction. The proposed improvements for the South County Force Main Pipeline consists of the construction of approximately 1,555 linear feet of 36-inch and 7 linear feet of 16-inch Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) and 7 linear feet of Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) via open cut. Also, there will be 9,210 linear feet of 36-inch High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe via Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD).
