The work is for the construction of the North Fremont Fire District – Drummond Station. The scope includes Mobilization, Clearing and Grubbing, Lot Grading and site preparation, Construction Staking, Utility Connection, Septic System Construction and Installation, and construction of a 3,071 SF wood framed fire station including all civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation work required therein. Bids must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified cashier’s check or corporate bid bond in the amount of five percent of the bid. The successful bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount not less than 100% of the contract price. The envelope enclosing the bid must be sealed, addressed to the North Fremont Fire District, and marked in the upper left-hand corner with the name and address of the bidder and the words “Bid for,” followed by the Project title and the date and hour of bid opening. The certified or cashier’s check, money order, or bidder’s bond must be enclosed in the same envelope with the bid. All bidders are required to comply with federal and state employment requirements and Executive Order No. 11246 regarding equal employment opportunities. Bidders must direct all questions in writing to the Engineer, and "or equal" items must be submitted for evaluation in compliance with the instructions to bidders.
