Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Deadwood, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of but is not limited to construction of potable drinking water well No. 2 for MCSD on the north east corner of Larkspur Rd and Sunflower Cir as indicated in the drawings. The well will extend roughly 1,000 to 1,300 ft below grade, tapping into the Deadwood Aquifer for a production rate of 12 gpm. Adjacent to the well, a small wooden well house structure on a concrete pad will be constructed to house the electrical, mechanical, and disinfection equipment for the well. Approximately 20 LF of 2" discharge piping will extend from the well to the well house. Around 60 LF of discharge piping will extend out to the existing 6" water distribution main in Larkspur Rd for connection to the existing system. Contractor to locate the existing line in the road which will require asphalt road excavation and repair. A gravel driveway will be constructed from the asphalt road to the well house spanning a drainage ditch with the provision of an 18" culvert. All bidders are advised the Owner has the right to reject any and all bids.
