The work involves establishing a pool of qualified persons, firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, or professional organizations to provide sports engineering, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and specialty engineering services for upcoming synthetic and natural grass fields projects. The selected firm(s) must be capable of providing full civil, field, sports, and landscape engineering services through the design and construction phases of projects requiring DSA review and approval prior to construction. The firm(s) will also prepare budgets for selected projects and attend meetings with District staff and consultants, school and neighborhood organizations, and District administrators as needed. Multiple pools of qualified firms will be established based on project size for future consideration. The exact scope of services will be negotiated with the selected firm and finalized in any resulting contract. Submittals must be no more than twenty single-sided pages or ten double-sided pages, not including covers, divider sheets, and allowed appendices. Five bound copies, one unbound copy, and one electronic copy of the submittal are required. Respondents must use 8-1/2 x 11-inch format with divider tabs labeled as specified. The unbound copy must be marked “Copy for Reproduction,” with proprietary information removed, and a separate cover sheet indicating removed pages. Electronic copies will only be accepted via flash drive or CD in Microsoft Office Suite or PDF formats. Any contact with District members or committees regarding the RFQ/P during the selection process will result in disqualification.
