The City of San Jacinto is seeking a qualified consultant to assist in the preparation of comprehensive Citywide Landscape, Irrigation, Park, Basin, Parkway, and Street Tree Design Standards. The selected consultant will work collaboratively with City staff to review existing materials, evaluate best practices from comparable jurisdictions, and develop a coordinated set of standards to guide the design, construction, and rehabilitation of public landscaping and park facilities throughout the City. The standards will primarily apply to landscaping, park improvements, stormwater basins, parkways, trails, and related amenities that will ultimately be owned, operated, or maintained by the City, including improvements constructed as part of private development projects or through Community Facilities Districts (CFDs). The standards should also provide guidance for the rehabilitation or replacement of existing City landscape and park facilities.
