Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Dickson City, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
The work on this project will include but is not limited to complete renovations and alterations to the upper front and rear roofs using an elastomeric coating membrane; new metal roofing on the lower front roof and reconstruction of the front canopy. Bidders' proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, certified bank treasurer's check, bank cashier's check or bid bond in the form provided in the Contract Documents. A satisfactory corporation surety shall provide security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid. The surety shall name as payee or obligee the Dickson City Borough. A Non-Collusion Affidavit of Contractor will be required to be signed and notarized prior to the award of any contract. A no-lien agreement will be required to be signed and filed by the contractor before any work begins on the project. All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after bid opening date, unless delayed due to required approvals of another governmental agency, and shall be accompanied by 10% bid guaranty, payable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, mistakes, omission informalities relative thereto.
