The work involves the construction of the Springhill Elementary School TK Restroom Project Portable R4, following the provided contract documents, drawings, and specifications. The Owner reserves the right to add or deduct additive or deductive items after determining the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The lowest bid will be determined by the base bid amount. Labor must be paid at no less than prevailing wage rates, and compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations applies. Public works contractor registration is required for projects over $25,000, with the registration number to be provided for each subcontractor performing more than 0.5% of the total bid. The contract time is sixty-one (61) calendar days, with liquidated damages for delay. Certain specified materials, services, or products may not be subject to Public Contract Code section 3400(a) for the reasons outlined in the project documents.
