Renovation of a transportation facility in Niagara Falls, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
NFTA invites interested Consulting Teams to submit a technical proposal from firms that have the requisite, demonstrable competence and experience in architectural and engineering services for the design, construction monitoring, and design support services during construction for the planned project. Qualified firms both singly or in teams must have the requisite, demonstrated competence and experience in and a thorough knowledge of the required architectural and engineering services required for the Project. This project shall provide a new Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) that will facilitate a safe operating environment for aeronautical activity at IAG well into the future. NFTA and USAF jointly own, operate, and maintain IAG. The civil portion of the airport is operated by NFTA (as the FAA sponsor), and the military portion by the US Air Reserve and the New York Air National Guard. The airport property lies within the Towns of Niagara and Wheatfield, in Niagara County, New York.
