Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Rutland, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Town of Rutland - Stratton Road Culvert Replacement will be received at the Rutland Town Municipal Building. The project consists of replacement of a 96-inch-diameter by 58.5-foot-long CMP Culvert with a 50-foot long precast concrete box culvert with precast concrete headwalls, wing walls, and cutoff walls at the inlet and outlet ends. The new culvert will have an opening of 14 feet wide by 8.5 feet tall. Special instructions and further bid details are provided in the attached bid advertisement. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but not mandatory. Question Deadline 04/30/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: A. All questions shall be mailed to Cathy Foutch, foutch@ottercrk.com and copy Robert M. Clark, P.E. clark@ottercrk.com. 7.03 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
