Without force and effect on requirements of the contract documents, the descriptive of the work of the Contract can be summarized as follows: 1. Project Drawings TS-1, RC-1, RC-2, RC-3, RC-4, RC-5, & RC-6 are for contractor reference only. Contractor shall visit the site, analyze, and measure specific work items and otherwise be knowledgeable of the roofing work required. 2. It is mandatory that the work be done in a manner that no weather element (rain, wind, dirt, snow, etc.) penetrates through the roof assembly into the enclosed building space. Special care is to be taken to limit the work of a day so that such weather protection occurs. A watertight tie on is required at the end of each workday. a. At the end of each workday or when precipitation is threatening the newly installed roof system. Utilize mastic as necessary to furnish a complete watertight night seal. It is mandatory that the watertight night seal is installed to the existing built-up roof systems. 3. All staging, scaffolding and erection necessary to complete specified Roof Replacement work. Contractor shall properly barricade staging work areas with temporary fencing and shall protect building materials from damage at all times.
