Reference Number 0000419460 The City of Medford Parks, Recreation and Facilities department is seeking experienced teams to provide design and cost estimates and due diligence for construction of a minor-league (MiLB) baseball stadium meeting Professional Development League (PDL) facility standards at Hawthorne Park, 501 E. Main St., in downtown Medford. Facility design should be versatile to accommodate a wide variety of community events and gatherings, such as outdoor markets and concerts. The City also seeks an alternate option for a cost estimate, a conceptual site plan, and due diligence associated with renovation and expansion of Harry & David Field, 2929 S. Pacific Highway, in south-central Medford, to meet PDL stadium requirements.The Design Team must be able to provide preliminary engineering, environmental and geotechnical investigation, and design work. The work requires skill in preparing construction estimates, constructability reviews, understanding construction methods and techniques, and be familiar with the local labor and subcontracting market. The Design Team must be familiar with construction of public projects and sports venues.
