Renovation of a municipal facility in Ripley, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Sealed bids are invited for exterior clocktower painting work at the Jackson County Courthouse building in Ripley, WV. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Bidding Documents issued by the Architect. Prime bidders must request bidding documents via email and print copies at their own expense. A certified check or a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid. The successful bidder must execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and a Maintenance Bond for 100% of the contract award. All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors must be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractor's Licensing Act); General Contractors are required to provide a copy of their WV Contractor's license and include their license number on the Bid Form. Bidders must attend a mandatory Pre-Bid meeting to familiarize themselves with the project location and site conditions. After the closing time for receipt of bids, no Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days. Work shall be started within fourteen (14) days of the Owner's Notice to Proceed. The Bidder, if successful and awarded a Contract, agrees that all Work is to be Substantially Complete before June 19, 2026 and agrees to achieve Final Completion within fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days thereafter.
