The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, bonds, licenses, insurance, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to replace the elements of the HVAC System and the accessories designated in the Plans and Specifications. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Bid submissions shall be emailed to PWC@cmd.ca.gov and shall include the Contracting Administrator listed in this IFB as a copied recipient. Subject line must include the IFB No. 127235, HVAC Replacement and Contractor Business Name. Prospective bidders MUST attend the mandatory pre-bid job walk at Sacramento Okinawa Readiness Center, 8450 Okinawa Street, Sacramento, CA 95828. Arrive at least 15 minutes early and bring business cards. Failure to arrive at the designated meeting location by the scheduled start time may result in disqualification from submitting a bid. Bidders who do not remain for the entire pre-bid job walk may be considered non-responsive and may not be allowed to bid on this project. Prospective bidders may obtain directions to the pre-bid job walk site by contacting Robert Hawkins at Robert.Hawkins@cmd.ca.gov. The Prime Contractor shall possess a current and in good standing CSLB license. Either a B-General Contractor License or a C-20 Warm-Air Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning License or a C-38 Refrigeration License or subcontract to one.
