The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the contract documents to construct the Residential Resurfacing Project – Phase I (Concrete Improvements). The project location is bounded by Azusa Avenue to the west, Foothill Boulevard to the north, Cerritos Avenue to the east, and First Street to the south, within the City of Azusa. Bids must be submitted on the City’s Bid Forms. Prospective bidders are responsible for downloading, printing, and verifying the completeness of the Bid Documents. Bidders must comply with all requirements of the California Air Resources Board In-Use Off-Road Diesel-Fueled Fleets Regulations and submit valid Certificates of Reported Compliance for both the Bidder and all listed Subcontractors. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a bid security of not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Faithful Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. The City will award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder as determined from the Base Bid alone and reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding process. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under the contract and applicable law in its Bid. Each Bidder must be a licensed contractor in the required classification(s) and maintain active registration for the duration of the contract.
