The Work consists of but not limited to: Renovation of two existing classrooms to create an architectural drafting and 3D print lab. Scope includes demolition of the existing demising wall and replacing it with a new wall featuring windows and a door for visibility between the two spaces. Work also includes custom millwork, counters, and shelving. The 3D print room will feature a dedicated exhaust system and security cameras. Sealed proposals are invited for the Classroom 813/811 Renovation at Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Flemington, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Drawings, specifications, proposal forms, and other bid documents are available for purchase from the Architect's office. Only firms with the DPMC Trade Classification C009 (General Contractor/ Additions and Alterations) are eligible to bid. Each bidder must deposit security of at least 10% of the bid amount, not to exceed $20,000, in the form of a certified check or bid bond, as outlined in the instructions to bidders. Bidders must comply with the requirements of the Public Contracts Affirmative Action Statute, Prevailing Wage Law, Americans with Disabilities Act, UGG 200.326, and all relevant New Jersey statutes. All contractors are subject to background checks. The right is reserved to reject any non-responsive bid, all bids, or to waive minor informalities, and to award a lump sum contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, in accordance with applicable law.
