PPSD - HVAC Controls and Energy Conservation Upgrade at Juanita Sanchez Educational Complex HS and Nathan Bishop Middle School The following scope of work is intended to be representative of the Owner and Engineer's design intent. Given the nature of the funding program through the State Office of Energy Resources, in partnership with the US Department of Energy, a primary goal of this project is to develop and execute this scope of work in accelerated manner. A comprehensive inventory and investigation of existing HVAC and controls infrastructure could not be completed prior to issuing these contract documents and limited building drawings were available, though not necessarily representative of all existing conditions. Accordingly, it is the Owner and Engineer's expectation thatsome aspects of the following scope of work will require the Contractor to field verify installation details, update quantities of equipment or devices, and/or provide other final engineering services to establish and coordinate the plan for implementing the design intent. The Contractorshall make a good faith effort to quote this project based on the scope of work and specifications provided, as well as past construction drawingsfor reference, and shall work closely with the Owner and State Office of Energy Resources to true up pricing and scopes of work during construction to provide the Owner with a complete, functional, and effective system with minimal, but mutually agreeable change orders to coordinate the final scope details.
