The existing closed drainage system is undersized and causes roadway flooding at intersections of Lexington Drive and crawl space flooding at 5811 Labonte Drive. There are two alternative plans. The first focuses on upsizing the outfall and relocating the main drainage system off private property onto Sturbridge Drive and Labonte Drive. This requires replacing RCP pipe with larger RCP pipe and instaling new RCP pipe. The second alternative focuses on improving the downstream section of the system to provide a 10-year level of service. It will replace the existing RCP pipe with larger RCP pipe to reduce the frequency and depth of standing water and alleviate the crawl space flooding at 5811 Labonte Drive. However, the remainder of the system along Labonte Drive and Sturbridge Drive will not meet a 10-year level of service. If need be, the two alternatives can be phased. The costs shown are using alternative #1's costs, because they are higher than #2's The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
