Site work and paving for a civil project in Ormond Beach, Florida. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) plans to mill and resurface approximately 3.91 miles of Nova Road (State Road 5A) from Flomich Street north to U.S. 1, including safety and operational improvements between Granada Boulevard (S.R. 40) and Wilmette Street. The project scope includes replacing portions of the existing two-way left-turn lane with a raised median, adding left-turn lanes and U-turn opportunities to maintain access, installing a new traffic signal at Old Kings Road, modifying the median at Arroyo Parkway to a directional median, upgrading traffic and pedestrian signals, enhancing intersection lighting, and reconstructing pedestrian curb ramps to meet current ADA standards.
